Learn about the challenges presented when attempting to carve a paradise out of the jungle.

Ask all the questions you want. We are pleased to assure you that our guides will tell you what they know, and be honest to admit when they don’t have the answers.
Do you think this is a little pineapple that will grow up and be a juicy taste treat? You may be surprised to discover the answer.

All along the tour your guide will look for wildlife to show you. He will teach you to look carefully for the small wonders of the rainforest. 
This plant has a small growth that tastes sour and delicious. That may give you a hint at its name.

Learn the local beliefs concerning respect and proper treatment of nature. This hibiscus provides a medicinal tea, but there are special considerations when picking it. 

Be sure to take your camera. There are lots of photo opportunities along the tour.



Learn how the developers and gardeners at Turtle Beach Lodge contribute to the health and preservation of our turtle population.
